Pool
I am very disappointed in the pool this year. First they are closing in the middle of the hottest part of the of the year. I do understand they have a bunch of young kids working as lifeguards, but hearing that they can not get anyone to volunteer to work, how about paying someone to do it in the evenings! Is that not why you charge so much in taxes out here! Second I paid $75.00 for private swimming lessons for my grandson. I was never told that was just for 4 lessons. What a rip off! I was told that they would not be doing classes the week of the 4th of July and would pick up after the holiday then on my 4th lesson I was told that was the last lesson. Third: now they close off the only part of the pool that small children can go in from 7 to 7:30 for kids taking swimming lessons. So we pay to get in and have to take the kids out for 30 minutes so they can make more money with their rip off classes. They did not close it off when I paid $75.00 for my grandson why do they have to do it now. We pay for that time and should be able to use it until closing! There is no reason you can not do the classes after they close. What it looks like to me is all they is worried about is making as much money out of the locals as they can and hope we put up with it. Well I am no going to put up with it I am a tax payer and they are ripping us off.

Why does it take so many people to pull maintance on the pool every morning, some mornings there three city trucks sitting there with guys stnding around talking. Why din;t you fire the two that ride around all day pulling a green mower behind their pickup and use the money to hire a lifeguard.
