State Track Meet 2006 June 2, 2006
Both Baldwin High School track teams competed in the state championship meet in Wichita over the weekend of May 26-27.
Baldwin High School sophomore Heather Garcia leads the 3,200-meter run Saturday morning in Wichita. Garcia won the race in a time of 11:33.65.
Saturday was another record breaking day for Baldwin High School junior Aaron Mills in the long jump, as he won the Class 4A event. Mills jumped 22-8 3/4 to tie the school record that senior Jeremy Wright held.

Baldwin High School sophomore Courtney Harris starts the first leg of the 1,600-meter relay Saturday night. Baldwin ran 4:07.30 and finished fourth in the race.
Baldwin High School senior Grant Catloth runs his leg of the boys' 3,200-meter relay without his left shoe. He lost the shoe shortly into the race when he was stepped on by an opponent.
Baldwin High School seniors Aaron Hannon (No. 450) and Matt James (No. 452) compete in the 300-meter hurdles race Saturday afternoon. Hannon won the race in a time of 39.4 while James placed fifth, running 40.53.
