Concert pianist set for series Oct. 2

Concert pianist Gilles Vonsattel will perform at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 2 at McKibbin Recital Hall as part of Baker University's Artist and Lecture Series.
Vonsattel has performed in Boston's Symphony Hall, Cleveland's Severance Hall, the Musee du Louvre in Paris, and the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. Winner of the Naumburg Foundation's prestigious 2002 International Piano Competition and the 2006 Geneva International Piano Competition, Vonsattel has been praised for his deft ability to "weave in and out of vastly different piano styles."
Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for youths. Tickets are available at the door 30 minutes before the shows.
Season tickets for the series are $45 for adults and $25 for children. Tickets can be bought at the Baker University business office, Baldwin State Bank, Kansas State Bank or by contacting Susan Buehler, director of the Artist and Lecture Series, at (785) 594-8421 or susan.buehler@bakeru.edu.
