Letter to the Editor
To the editor:
I have been a part of Bulldog Days since its inception three years ago. It is truly a community event that not only enhances a person's physical and mental outlook, but encourages a family to do "stuff" together. I would like to say a huge thank you to Coach Mike Berg for his assistance in informing the Baldwin High School football team of the morning workouts before weights.
As most coaches and athletic directors know, champions are made in the off-season. If you are a BHS coach reading this, I hope you will do your part and inform your athletes, Bulldog Days meet Monday-Wednesday-Friday at 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. and Tuesday-Thursday at 8 p.m. I encourage everyone who has considered taking their lifestyle to the next level to check us out. We meet at Liston Stadium. The program is designed for everyone to go at their own pace.
For everyone who already has seized the opportunity to participate in Bulldog Days, my thanks for making this one of the best summers ever. The commitment you have made will pay huge dividends health-wise for years to come. I encourage moms, dads, kids, business people, retired people and any other curious folks to come and be a part of a unique family atmosphere.
Mike Everett
